RSMinerve is a very well developed software but some hickups may occur. Below we list a few problems that may (or may not) occur and how they can be solved.
RSMinerve uses %d.%m.%Y as date format. When scripting RSMinerve from
R it reads the systems default date format which may differ from
RSMinerves internal default date format.
Make sure to either set the systems date format to %d.%m.%Y under
Control Panel, Clock and Region, Region, Date and time formats or test
your systems date interactions with RSMinerve by trying out Example 1 of
RSMinerveR. The pre-simulation report will tell you if it encounteres a
date problem.
RSMinerve excepts “.” as a decimal separator but it will write the
default decimal separator of your system.
You can change your preferences under Control Panel, Clock and Region,
Region, Additional settings, Decimal Symbol. Choose , and apply your
changes before closing the windows.
